Terms and Conditions

Prices

All prices on this website are ex-works Haltwhistle and include VAT at the current rate of 20%. The company reserves the right to alter any prices at any time without notice and all goods are sold subject to prices ruling at the date of despatch. Subject to the above, customers will be notified if the price to be charged is different from the published price and will be given the option of cancelling their order without penalty.

Payment

1)      “SECURE PAYPAL” - Process the order details on line and select the above payment option at checkout. Major debit and credit cards, as well as bank transfers and payments from a Paypal balance can be used for payment. Just follow the Paypal instructions. On completion you will receive an automatically generated email copy of the order with a Customer/Shopper ID. Your order will be processed by us on receipt of payment details from PayPal 

2)      “CREDIT CARD TRANSACTION BY TELEPHONE” - Process the order details on line and select the above payment option at checkout. You will receive an automatically generated email copy of the order with a Customer/Shopper ID. Following receipt of this, please telephone 01434 322681 between 0900 and 1700 Tuesday to Thursday with the following information to hand:

Customer/Shopper ID, Card number, Expiry date, Issue number (some UK Maestro or Solo cards), Start date, Card Security Code.

We accept the following cards:Visa Credit, Debit & Electron, Mastercard, Switch (UK Maestro), Solo, Maestro and JCB.

Your order cannot be processed until you telephone with the card details.

 

3)      “CHEQUE BY POST” – Process the order details on line and select the above payment option at checkout. You will receive an automatically generated email copy of the order with a Customer/Shopper ID. Print a copy of the e mail and send it, with a cheque, to Classic Uph. & FOAM, Unit DC72, West End Industrial Estate, Haltwhistle. Northumberland NE49 9HA.    Cheques, made payable to Classic Uph. & FOAM, will be cleared before the order is processed.

 

4)      “TRADE ACCOUNT” -  Process  the order details online, at checkout, select “Non Standard” for the delivery method and “TRADE ACCOUNT” for the payment method, then “PURCHASE”.  You will be invoiced at the trade prices that we have agreed with you, not the Retail Price shown at Check Out.   Delivery will also be as we’ve agreed, unless you instruct differently for a specific order.

 

UK Delivery Costs and Options

SHIPPING COSTS

For deliveries to England and Wales as well as Glasgow and Edinburgh City areas:

No Packing & Delivery charge for orders with a goods value, incl. VAT, totalling £100 and over.

A fixed Packing & Delivery charge of £9.95 per order for those with a goods value, incl. VAT, totalling under £100.

For deliveries to other areas of Scotland and Northern Ireland. Please contact us for a quotation for delivery costs.

 

SHIPPING METHOD

For the vast majority of shipments we will use our appointed carrier.  Royal Mail will only be used for small consignments.

Large shipments may be palletized and in the majority of these cases we use an easily disposable cardboard pallet when shipped to a non-business address.

General delivery information

Orders are usually despatched on a Friday for delivery on Monday. The carrier will require a signature on delivery.

If the Customer fails to take delivery of the Goods or the Goods cannot be delivered due to incorrect delivery instructions from the Customer, CUFOAM may, at its discretion, charge the customer for reasonable costs including redelivery and storage

For goods that are temporarily out of stock, CUFOAM will advise the expected despatch date when processing the order and request you to reconfirm that the order is to be processed on that basis.

Product Specification

The company reserves the right to alter any product specification at any time without notice. Subject to the above, customers will be notified if the specification is different to that published and will be given the option of cancelling their order without penalty

Faulty Goods

1.       Damage in transit
a) The external packaging of all goods should be inspected prior to signing the carriers delivery receipt. If damage is discovered a clause should be made on the carriers receipt.
b) If on further inspection damage to the actual goods is found then CUFOAM is to be advised, within 3 working days from the day after that on which the goods are received by the consumer; to our Haltwhistle address provided at the bottom of each page on this site.

2.      Goods not meeting order specification
Advice of any goods not meeting the order specification are to be made to CUFOAM within 7 working days from the day after that on which the goods are received by the consumer.

Order cancellation

In accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 the consumer has the right to cancel an order:

If the cancellation option is taken then the following applies:

(NOTE: Foam cut to size is classed as “..goods made to a consumer's specification” and is not covered by the Distance Selling regulations.)

1.       The consumer must provide written notice of the cancellation, includes e mail or fax, within 7 working days from the day after that on which the goods are received by the consumer; to our Haltwhistle address provided at the bottom of each page on this site.

2.       Goods are to be returned to our Haltwhistle address in the original packing, along with the consumer’s name, address and tel. number.

3.       The consumer must arrange for and pay for the return carriage.

Extent of Liability

Where the Customer notifies CUFOAM of any valid claim in respect of any of the Goods which is based on any defect in the quality or condition of the Goods or their failure to meet specification in accordance with these conditions, CUFOAM shall be entitled to replace the Goods (or the part in question) free of charge or, at the Company’s sole discretion, refund the Customer the price of the Goods (or a proportionate part of the price), but the Company shall have no further liability to the Customer
